In January I will be 60

And I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.
Today I gave a young woman a ride she comes from a small town in Alabama Greenville she’s 22 years old reminds me so much of me when I was 20 years old leaving a small town in Georgia Conyers headed for California.
This woman, what a Wonder-Filled sprite with a beautiful soul! She wants to be a writer. I said to her I do a daily blog and I’ve been putting feelers out for guest bloggers. Would you like to blog?
I suggested share with me and my readers what it felt like for her to leave that small town. I wish you all could have seen the smile on her face she goes oh my Lord Curtis I was so nervous I was so afraid I heard her and I start to laugh to myself. Because it made me remember back when I told my parents, when I told my coaches that I was leaving Georgia University of GA and Conyers Georgia my hometown to move to California.
I hope she shares with us.
Which leads me to say If you want to share and be a guest Blogger, send it to me. cgaikens@aol.com put in the subject line guest Blogger along with the title of you piece
Back to the turning 60 not knowing what I want to do when I grow up! Don’t get it twisted, yes I am grown, however I still have stuff to get DID!
Here I am now some 40 years later after leaving Georgia contemplating selling everything and moving to Australia or Paris with that same sense of wonder that I had had 19 wow.
Am I crazy, Hell yes!
Namaste
