You are, I am, We are … Love

It hit me like a ton of bricks.  We are all connected.  We each are just individualized expressions of the one that created all.  Being a student of metaphysics, I have heard this expression many times.  There is so much to say about this, I don’t even know where to begin.  It has not been so easy to say I love you to this girl in the mirror.  As a matter of fact, I have avoided it for the most part.  Of course, I have done it , sometimes, because it is part of this course I am participating in.   I found it to be incredibly hard.  But as I tune in to my new friends who are on this journey with me, I have learned, I am not the only one.  I cannot say what happened to them, but for me, it is like somewhere down Read More…

Facing Fear, Yes!!

For the last 6 weeks, I have been participating in this program called the Master Key Experience.  Based on the book called the “Master Key System” by Charles Haanel.  This week has been one full of change and busyness.  It was a beautiful release and acceptance of what was and welcoming of what could be.  Participating in this experience has moved me to a place of questioning everything.  When I notice that I have an opinion, I quickly remind myself that it is an opinion.  And then I ask myself, why do I have that particular opinion. I have been learning so much about myself, and this week was no different in that regard.  I have learned how fearful I am.  I have learned how insecure I am, and I have learned how much I see the glass as half empty.  I also have learned that I have an amazing Read More…

These three are your greatest treasures. Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being. Patient with both friends and enemies, you accord with the way things are. Compassionate toward yourself, you reconcile all beings in the world.” ― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching   As we are nearing the end of 2018, I am reflecting on this year. It has been a world wind, and while I have accomplished many things on my goal list, I still find myself thinking that I am still in the same place I was last year. Yoga Teacher Training LOVE IT

Quote of the Week: sent from my Coach Jacob  (I like to give this quote out as a reminder that when we feel frustrated or stuck, it is often because we are attached to an idea, belief or goal that is not really serving us.) After a full meal a large raptor soared skyward with the unconsumed portion of his prey. As he rose above the trees crows appeared from many directions. The crows flew at the raptor, diving and striking. They called him names and swore at him. He flew only with great difficulty because of the heavy corpse and his full stomach. The crows were making his life hell, but he stubbornly continued to cling to his burden. Finally, he had to release his prey in order to flee the annoying crows. As soon as he let go of the prize, the hungry crows followed the corpse down, Read More…
