Today I gave a young woman a ride she comes from a small town in Alabama Greenville she’s 22 years old reminds me so much of me when I was 20 years old leaving a small town in Georgia Conyers headed for California. Love Sun, May 27, 2018 8:02 pm Love wow! I look at my youngest son tonight Memorial Day eve. So many things going through my mind how much I love him. How much I love his brother how much I missed them when they are not around. my brother Jeffery who passed away years ago, my father passed away a decade ago how much I love them how much I miss them. Love I look at my mother and my sisters and my brother my nieces my nephew and Cole’s significant other and I just wish They knew how much I love them. I wish I could let them all know how much I love them. You can tell them love you, however no one really knows how much you love them because they aren’t you. Recipes from the Way-Back for the Jane Pauley Show

Old Fashion Beef Stew 3 Pounds of beef (chuck) cut into 1 inch cubes 1/3 cup all purpose flour 1/3 cup salad oil 1 large onion, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 4 cups water 1 tablespoon salt 2 bay leaves ½ teaspoon of thyme ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 cup each cut up carrots, turnips, celery 4 cups cubed potatoes Coat stewing meat with flour. In Dutch oven over medium-high heat, heat oil and add meat. Brown meat thoroughly, turning often. Add water, bay leaves, salt, pepper and thyme and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 2 ½ hours. Add vegetables and simmer for an additional 30-45 minutes.
